Some more information I should have added. I used a 26 m/m carb on the Arrow but there is a 28 m/m one available. Brian.

Hello, These are the jets etc for the standard Leader/Arrow engine - pilot 30, main 130/140, needle jet 182 N-8, NEEDLE 5DP7, slide 2.0, air jet 0.5 Motocarb near Liverpool is the best place to go . Hello, The engine in the Arrow shown has alloy cyclinders and was mildly tuned by Fahron so uses slightly different jets in the Mikuni carb but I'll check what they should be in a standard engine and get back to you. Brian H.

Ariel initially recommended 25 to 1 but in later information recommended 32 to 1 of some oils. I've used 32 to 1 in my standard Leader of any of the major oil makes ie. Castrol, Putaline etc. I find semi synthetic gives less smoke and is not too expensive. .Brian H ps the engine has done 17,000 ...

Hi, The flat part of the anchour extension has a couple of tenons on the end which locate into the brake plate, along with the bolt and stud. The round bit into which the outer cable locates is welded to the flat part. It's had quite a test and seems secure, it does give a bit more bite to the brake ...

Hi, I was going to mention a heavier cable or just a good quality cable to make the brake a bit better but Bernie got there first. There are somethings you can do to make the front brake a bit better before going for a T L Shoe or a Japanese brake. Will reply in more detail in a couple of days. Brian H
