answered my own question:

None of the NGK plugs caps fit the Champion D9’s.

But these do:

Have just bought Champion D9 spark plug - but the current plug cap (LB05EH) doesn't fit as the spark plug is wider than the old one.
I could use a spade end fitting but would like to know if there's a plug cap that fits?

The two spindles are different sizes (OHV type on top, Side valve type below) So I had a bush made up: and fitted:

Turns out the mechanism (lifter shaft) is badly worn so I have put a wanted post on the forum.

Mine is so worn it now won't compress the valve.
Spares not available from Draganfly.
Can anyone help?
Ideally I'd like to replace the whole mechanism.

Update - I disconnected the cable and found that I could operate the lever by hand, albeit with fair resistance from the valve spring (but that is a good thing!).
So I will investigate the cable and lever for fouling - I think the actual mechanism is fine.

So I can only get the lever to move when the exhaust valve is compressed.
At any other part of the engine cycle it won't budge.
Does it need adjustment? If so how?
I did locate a parts diagram but it didn't explain setup.
