Hi all, my vb appears to be wet sumping, when left for a week or two without being run i am getting oil leakage from some of the seals .....Do any of you have experience of wet sumping, any remedies or cures......any info on this would be greatfully received..........also am getting fuel leakage ...

last week i saw someone wearing one of those Davida classic basin helmets, it looked awesome....but do wonder about protection though......I cant remember anyone that i know being stopped or fined for having wrong helmet....not saying it doesn't happen, just not a lot i don't think. I have had oil, not huge amounts but enough to coat the bottom of the frame coming from the breather pipe, is this normal?

Many thanks, the automatic advance/retard certainly wasn't working as it should.....lol, I went out on it yesterday and covered about 50 miles...using the manual advance/retard in the correct manner seems to have improved the knocking sound hugely...also engine appeared to be running a fair bit ...

Hi all, on the way home yesterday after the first ride of my VB, i noticed a noise that sounded a little like a loose primary or timing chain...but having checked both of these previously was a bit baffled.....it came to me that the noise may have been pinking/engine knock......i am now panicking ...

i plucked up the courage and bought myself an open face helmet, which i wore when taking VB to its Mot, i have to say the difference between this and full face one is quite marked......i am fully aware of the safety implications, but the ability to hear, and see and feel the wind in your face is ...

the VB passed the Mot today with no advisories......very happy chap indeed......Many thanks for the help getting the bike to this stage, many more things still to do but at least it is on the road now.........
