as title says. I have a cracked banjo in my rocker feed pipe so looking for a new one. Not 100% familiar with the ariel engine yet but think the part number is 140A-52 according to dragon fly.

I was asking if a centre for a 3 plate clutch was the same as a 2 plate clutch except for it's thickness, in which case I can reduce it's thickness in the lathe to that of a 2 plate centre.before turning the lugs off.

I'm intending fitting the third plate with the lugs of the plate filed off and the centre's lugs turned down. I was just a bit hesitant to turn the lugs off the centre I have in case it didn't work out.

Hi.

Currently doing the 3 plate clutch mod to my ht5.
Could someone tell me if there is any difference between the 2 and 3 plate centres as rather than turning the lugs off the one I've got, I'd rather turn them off a spare and keep my original.
