Thanks for your answers so far.
Actually I have fixed the rest of the speedometer my self. It is not that difficult. All you need is to be accurate and patient...

I just need a detailed picture of the facing.... to have it properly restored..

Meanwhile I wish all of you Ariel fan a Happy Easter.

Speedometer Model G Special 1930

I am trying to find the original look of my speedometer “facing”

The bike is a Model G Special from 1930 imported to Norway so I assume the numbers are kilometers pr. hour. I am quite sure it is a Smiths speedometer so I am looking for the Smiths logo and other text on the facing to get it back to ...

Hi. I am not yet starting on my 1930 model G project so I am not sure, but looking at the mudguard, the frame and the wheel it seem to be the only option; to remove the mudguard....
