Hi All
Rather cross with myself as my inspection plug fell out this morning. Part number 5750A-32. Its the same part for Aluminium or steel covers.
They are available on back order, but I would prefer an original if possible and ideally, soon.
If anyone has one they are prepared to sell, please ...

W/NG Tin chain case - oiler screw
Evening all,
Does anyone have a drawing or can provide me with a sketch of what the oil adjustment screw looks like (its not the same as for the aluminium chain case). Its part number is 5770-43.
Thanks in advance
Steve W

Re: Rear chain lubrication screw
Hi Roger
Can I take you up on your offer of a drawing for part number 5770-43 please?
I have one of the few metal chain cases and need the adjuster.
Thanks

Rear brake pedal - is mine correct?
Hi
I have a suspicion that my rear brake pedal is not correct for a 1944 w/ng.
I have attached pictures of mine together with a picture from the parts book. I think the clue maybe that my pedal does not come anywhere near the 'buffer stop' which should be attached to the bottom of the primary case ...

Small end question
Hi
I had reason to remove the piston recently on my w/ng. Had to heat the piston to remove the gudgeon pin.
After putting it back together, again with heat, the piston was not as free as it had been previously, so I took it out apart and tried with the pin round the other way; it was only marginally ...

The previous owner never used the bike Paul, but he bought it from a soldier based near Swindon; sorry, but I don't know his name.
