I presume that when you said it was fitted with a Ferg that you meant a Ferc, or to the non eniciated, a fully enclosed rear chain. The talk of adjuster screws and springs can be ignored as the chain is fed from a bleed from the oil tank. if you remove the filler cap, on the far side, that is the ...

I had the same problem on my square after stripping the box to cure oil leaks. I found that the core plugs fitted at the end of the selector shaft borings left side near the gearbox sprocket were loose and leaking, so I dug them out and turned up some alloy plugs to replace them, which did not leak ...

alternative clutch

due to an ongoing project, I may have to do away with the shock absorber on the engine, has anyone found another clutch with a shock absorber that can be adapted to fit the burman gearbox? dave herbert
