Re: Speedo on a 1928 model
There are several round, GPS, 0-120 MPH speedo's ... Everyone has their own perspective, of course, but I feel the "need" for an age-appropriate (or somewhat appropriate), old-fashioned speedometer to be consistent with the overall age-appropriateness of nearly everything else on the 1928 machine ...

Re: Speedo on a 1928 model
Does anyone know how those early speedometer cables were constructed? Those with the characteristically thick casing?

Hawker Headstem Bearings
Hello,
I’m looking to replace the VH’s stem bearings and noticed a Hawker replacement.
Are these a direct replacement of the ballbearing races?
Assuming no modification to stem or tube?
Anyone?

Re: Wanted : 1928 oil pump
Additionally…..I’m beginning to wonder if my plunger spring and established plunger clearance is the root cause to wayward oil flow/drips.
I will re-read CMFalco’s book to see if I can gain some understanding of any issues i may have inadvertantly introduced whilst making my pump and figuring out ...
