That is interesting. This lacquer is not an activated 2k product, so I am very surprised that it withstands ethanol.

Are such parts available generally through the Club? I do wonder what proportion of the membership are able to attend the AGM; I would think that not many members would have the opportunity to buy the parts you have listed.

So, 'piston clearance' is a term referring to a static situation when measuring the gap at one side of the piston, with the piston skirt in contact with the opposite side of the liner.

Could someone please confirm exactly what is meant by 'piston clearance?'

My understanding is that a specified piston clearance of, say 5 thou, means that there is a 5 thou gap between the piston and the barrel, all the way around the circumference.

I bought some from Ebay. Lots of sellers selling small quantities of metal stock. Now may not be the best time because some trade sellers take down their items when on holiday, but worth a look..
