Also, an experienced member of our club told me he was able to significantly improve his 7" FWH brake by shortening the cam 6mm overall (3mm each side). I don't know if he ...

Re: Wanted: Oil filter for 1936 4F
Hi Paul,
Thanks so much for the follow-up. I was leaning towards that filter, and was trying to get hands on one to measure.
The support wire on the original is on the outside of the felt element, which is necessary when the oil flow is from inside to outside. The picture for 042061 shows the ...

Wanted: Oil filter for 1936 4F
Hello Arielists,
I need to replace the oil filter element; part no1584-33.
Can anyone lead me to a supplier?
Do owners make a replacement element (IE modify one that is available)?
Cheers,
Richard

Re: Sq4 MkI - what now?!?
A friend had the same problem with an A10 recently; oil level dropped in the oil tank and increased in the sump.
The problem was in the scavenge circuit.
Very low (insufficient) oil flow returning to the tank; not much return flow visible out of the pipe in the oil tank.

Re: B-TH magdyno
I installed a BTH on a Super Rocket in 2008. I have hidden the coils under the "ski slope".
Very happy with the performance; easy starting and smooth running engine.

What John said.
Hydraulic tubing (CDS1010) comes in a number of gauges. Welds beautifully.
The heavier gauge you use, the easier it is to weld, and the stronger the frame.
