When removing the cylinder liners instead bashing them out after heating in the oven I ran a weld down the liner In 2 places opposite each other , low amps , 2.5 mm mild steel rod very easy to remove , again low amps travel faster than normal.

Is there any difference in valve spring length on the Mark 2 compared to Mark 1.

The new springs measure ,Outer 44.5 x 29 mm , inner 39 x 19 mm, that I have brought.

The old springs measure on average ,Outer 40.4 x 28.7 inner 36.7 x 19.7.

I will order Nicholson but with Waller he has heaps out, can some one point me in the right direction the book that deals with the 4G mark 2 that Waller wrote , I am not the sharpest tool in the draw working with computers and the different sites.

Hi All.
No oil was getting to the rockers on # 1 and 2 .
The cause the oil gallery in the rocker spindle is full of carbon.
On the spindle there looks to be an alloy plug at one end on all spindles , there is no way of removing these using screw driver or spanner.
Can these plugs be drilled out to ...
