Hi you need the later solid type tensioner rather than the spring steel item . I think its available from the club scheme. I fitted one to my KH with no great problem

Does anyone know what the centre bolt and 8 through bolts should be torqued up to on a KH500 using an Otto head gasket please? Also if the recommended smear of high temperature silicone around the push rod holes should be allowed to cure before fitting, or assembled wet?

Does anyone know of a straightforward way of setting up a tachometer on a KH 500? I have tried a couple of the small inductive tachos that are available but since they happily show majorly different RPM for the LH and RH side of the engine and the crank is not complaining think they might be a tad ...
