According to Drags listings RBH was also used again in 1951, which tallies with the frame number. The OG timing cover is probably a replacement at some time and the rest is possibly all genuine '51, but as Bob has said, what a challenge!

It is a nice thing, but I'm surprised the auction is still running! He usually lets a bike get to a certain value then takes it off ('error with the listing' or 'item lost or broken')! Draw you own conclusions!

Stuart Bray is asking £180 for a NOS twistgrip or £50 a pair for the canvas grips so unless folk get carried away this may be a bargain!

Having bought bikes from Andy before I know he's one of the better dealers but is this a fair price for a Colt? I've always quite liked them and now I'm getting older (and weaker!), it would be a logical move but what are the usual pitfalls of Colt ownership? Being a bit of a dinosaur I'm wary of ...
