Thanks for all the advice, all very sensible, I apologise for my delay in thanking all of you.
A hint is, I'm now in the market for a new PC, at least the computer crashed, not me.
I will take pictures and ask for offers on this site, as soon as my PC is repaired or renewed, using my wife's laptop ...

Selling Bikes, best methods.

I have not ridden any of my bikes for about 5 years after hurting my back and ending up in hospital, it took 9 months to be able to walk properly.
(Do not unload a couple of ton of sandstone and build a wall in your late 60s/early 70s)

I will be selling the following bikes, all running perfectly ...

Just unscrewed my 4G's oil cap and it has a small hole outside and inside.

Hi All
Thanks to Roger, Keith and Rob for your helpful reply's, I opted for the club clock and spoke to Peter Kemp who was very helpful (cheque in the post already).
Best thing I did to enhance my Ariel experience was to join the AOMCC and this blog

SRM offer a cast alloy sump plate with a drain plug for the A10, which would be suitable for a Huntmaster. It is possible other manufacturers offer these, searching Ebay came up with another (different pattern) sump plate suitable for preunit BSA twins (and a Huntmaster). I'm sure a web search will ...

Well gents, thanks for all the advice, with pro’s and con’s, there is no way I could be trusted with a tap :oops: and I do not fancy adding a device with a cut off micro switch/wiring, seems just another added electrical component to go wrong :cry: .
