Meant to add: make sure the sprockets are lined up. If they are reasonably in line the end float will allow adjust a small amount.

I haven't heard about Regina Chains. When I bought one for my VB back a few years now from Drag's . ... cant remember the brand so it may have come off a bulk chain reel they had. ...it came with the correct number of links and in a continuous loop.

Before using that grease I would give the manufacturer a call and make sure the Extreme Pressure additives are compatible with the nonferrous bushes and bearings in the Burman gear boxes...

Hi Bevan,
If you go to the members area and find Wallers references for gearbox and clutch, ( down the bottom of the list ) you should find end float details and what to do about it on page 155. Basic specs says end play of 1/64 to 1/32 is acceptable.

You could also spray the foam with air cleaner filter oil...

Here is what I did ti fit an air cleaner to my VB, same s yours not much room between the oil tank and the short velocity stack on the carb inlet.
I visited the $2 shop and bought a small kitchen sieve with fine SS mesh.
Cut it out and formed it around the velocity stack and spot glued ...

Sorry but staying on HTTP instead of migrating to HTTPS is a no brainer I am afraid.

AOMCC Forum HTTP and HTTPS
To the site Admin,
When going to this forum since the web site change a couple of years ago I get error and do not trust messages each time I access it.
I am assuming that AOMCC forum does not run on HTTPS but only on HTTP?
Since it is only a few dollars/pounds to change I wonder you haven't ...
