Re: 30's Front Wheel or hub
The bike is a 1930 but I'm told that it has 1931 forks fitted. The 5" front brake drum is flimsy to the point you can see it flex when you apply the brake and in use it has 'modest' braking effect so it has to go. A 2LS is always an option but the difficulty in making it look period has put me off ...

30's Front Wheel or hub
Hi,
Would anyone have a front wheel suitable for Webb forks? They are nominally 5" between the legs. Ideally 19" rim, or just the hub so I can build it to a 19" rim, and to push my luck the brake parts would be nice too! I'm not too worried about originality but need something better than I have now ...

Re: Wanted a new project.
Hi Leejm,
I see you are in Nuneaton too! I have a 1959 regd VH which needs some work for which I have nearly all of the parts needed. I have been working on a house refurb which has taken all of my time and I am considering moving this on.
If you are interested then PM me, I'm on St Nic estate ...

1959 Regd VH500 Tank needed
If anyone has useable non-leaking tank they are saving for a rainy day, well its raining in Nuneaton if you could part with it for a fair price! Its the rounded type as for a 350 but with a cut-out in the bottom for the taller engine.
Tatty paint is OK, will match the rest of the bike!
Please PM ...

Re: Late VH Battery Carrier
John doesn't have any no, didnt think to try Peter but good point, I will. Otherwise an FH one and a hacksaw would be a happy solution, thanks will let you know.

Late VH Battery Carrier
I'm in need of a battery carrier for a late VH, Drags ref is 6151-56A but at £82 its rather steep. Does anyone have a half decent one at a fair price? I need everything from the base, strap and links/screws/nuts to replace the rotting wooden one on mine! Please dont ask why I bought this bike, maybe ...
