'55 VH Dual Seat Cover Fitting

I am currently trying to reupholster the dual seat on my 54/55 VH. I have modified a later seat pan, dropping the front portion to align with the rear of the fuel tank. I have organised the foam and bought a 54 spec cover from RK Leighton. I've fitted a thin, narrow protective strip to the raw edge ...

Re: Battery to suit Alton generator

Cheers Simon,
I’d had a go at editing and re-saving, but obviously not correctly. I’ll ask a grandson to show me how!

Re: Oil Pipes - 1954 VH

Thanks everyone for the input. I’ve heated the oil tank return pipe with a small blow torch and used a deep socket to get enough leverage to straighten it up. IMG_8773.jpeg
The tee-piece is on its way from Draganfly and the up-and-over direction looks good for the rocker feed. I’ll solder up a new ...

Oil Pipes - 1954 VH

‘Evening chaps. I’m currently trying to recommission a recently aquired 1954 VH and would appreciate some guidance. Among other things, I’d like to replace the lashed-up oil pipes.

Re: Wanted- Rocker feed pipe - Ali head VH

Hi Roger,
Thanks very much for the input. I’ve printed a copy of the whole issue 14 Drags catalogue. (At work. After hours) It’s been invaluable over the years.
Does the rubber tee-piece fit between the main oil return pipe and the unthreaded oil tank return stub?

Thanks again,
Mark

Wanted- Rocker feed pipe - Ali head VH

Hi,
I’m after the rigid feed pipe that fits between the rocker spindles for my ‘54 Ali-head VH. It’s the bit with 2 banjos soldered to a Tee piece.
I’d also like to know how it connects to the return oil pipework.
Is there supposed to be a rubber Tee-piece that splices into the circuit?
