Re: FH Fuel Tank Chrome Strip?

I would certainly use a washer of some description. Ariel did mention somewhere that to 'avoid needless repetition nuts and washers are not usually mentioned. Also with sheet metal items like this some allowance tends to be made to allow for a less than precision fit by the use of slotted holes etc ...

Re: FH Fuel Tank Chrome Strip?

No I havn't listed the wrong screw! Really! They screw into a little spire clip H504-56, I suspect that someone has substituted an inferior fitting. https://draganfly.co.uk/shop/82967/spir ... l/#H504-56

Re: ARIEL VH 500 RED HUNTER

Yes with keyway in line with crankpin. There 3 timing side shafts 1150-32, 1150-35, 1150-36, watch out for alignment of oil hole and keyway. There are several more earlier ones but these are the ones for 1932 on vertical singles.

Re: 4F JP piston fitting

Ah! The 4G tends to suffer from the SQ4itus of seizing the rear cylinders, the cammy and MKI used to suffer head gasket failures. You should be OK with the same clearance all the way round.
