I've acquired an Arrow. It came from a friend under very sad circumstances.
It's a very late 200 but with early 'S' crankcases. The logbook says 250
but I've not yet stripped anything to measure up. There is correspondence which
suggests the change happened in 1979 following damage to the original cases.
I don't know what the damage was but welding was certainly an option according
to the correspondence. In the end a second-hand set
of cases (at least) seems to have been the preferred solution.
So, has anyone got the set of crankcases numbered T 35464 H?
