hello Richard , I found one on the website of "theodole"a dutch magnetospecialist I do not know the price but you can try www.theodole.nl , your pound is cheap compared to our euro so maybe it is not too bad and you do not find them on every corner of the street
good luck Chris

By the way I have one ( not for sale) on one of my racers and I bought it recently for 150 euros + 110 restaurationcosts = total 260 euros. so these magneto's will do over 300 I suppose??...chris

That one looks rebuilt. that would cost about 140 euro's in australia. ( to rebuild) I guess the price is about right at 300 but If it was a good one I would think that was cheap. The Lucas Mags of this type are OK the main difference between Bosch and Lucas is the 2 bolts against 4 that the Bosch uses to hold the armature together. This doesn't matter much if it is not a magdyno where there is more load on it. Lucas make a racing one also. The BTH's were considered the best but there are not many V twin ones made..Nev

I have something similar to that, but it is all Aluminium. It has R 808 or something like it stamped on it.
I think it is later AMC? It has 4 holes underneath. No date though. The tag is gone / broken.
