Not close to original but not too bad looking. Still working on this thing after 50 years owning it. Maybe time for a new project bike eh?

Looks pretty good to me.........footrest on the RHS looks a bit low ,tho.

First right hand corner would prove that. If you've had it that long you better get on and get it on the road. WE don't live forever. There's a spacer between the engine plates for the stud the footrests go on .Check it's there before you tighten it up fully. Good luck. Nev

Very nice restoration.
I see the rear stand spring is not fitted. They can be a real pain to get on. I used the method shown in this video (which was done by Draganfly) I had the bike on the bench and strapped down and the spring went on easily using this method.



You probably know this but your brake pedal seems to be sitting high. There is a special bolt with an extended 'shaft'. Its the bolt that goes through the bottom of the primary cases into the threaded casting on the frame. It was discussed in this topic http://forum.arielownersmcc.com/viewt ... f=4&t=6298
