hmm. they did.
Kinda a bit uncomfortable being on the committee and being awarded something by the committee; but like MP's voting themselves a payraise... (even if they did get my name wrong on the plaque)
I actually think it's undeserved when I look at folks like Jerry Mortimore and Peter Kemp (and all the other spares guys) humping stuff about.
I also think that people constantly trekking out to their garage, to take stuff for pictures and measuring, to solve someone else's problem ... (especially YOU, Brenton, who do it more than anyone) deserve it more than me. That sort of commitment to helping out guys, that are isolated from the mainstream club by location, trying to put togother a mechano kit with no instructions goes largely unrecognised by the parochial nature of the AOMCC.
Anyway. I was chuffed and I nearly filled up.
I thought for a second about mounting it on the sidecar (lester would have kittens) but I have to give it back next year ..
