To replace that Indian repro box now fitted.

He has the correct exhaust pipe clamps. Koala stamp for that. I don't think you run a dip switch when you have the headlight shroud.. It only lights one beam and the park light First time I've seen the contract number (the plate on the rear guard) sitting LEVEL. They are usually drilled all over the place. It's a nice bike but I don't think I will dress up like a period rider, thanks. Nev

How can you tell that its a reproduction upper toolbox?

The lid and fixed part on the front of a original one has the edge slightly 'rounded'.
The Indian ones are more 'squared' and that also makes them look a bit larger, but the outside dimension is probably the same.

Hi Nev, very right so, I like to see a well -rebuilt- WD bike with all bits correct, as you can see the owner made a effort.
But it stops there, no dressing up.

About 10 years ago i was at a 'fly-in at airport Lelystad when there was a small group of WWII dressed up Germans, swastika et all…
I told the 'Feldwebel' that if my father would have been around and found him parading around like that he would punch his face.
He took off and stayed away from me the rest of the day.
