painting 1944 w/ng

Post by gareth.knight »

hi,
i was wondering if anybody could tell me how w/ng's were painted, and are there different methods for painting the frame and the cycle parts i.e the tank, mudgaurds, toolboxes etc.
i would also apreciate any advice on colour matching for 1944 w/ng's.ive read that they went from an olive drab to a more brown colour due to running out of yellow pigment late on in the war, after using the yellow on the bombers! and i was going to visually match paint with the picture of the 1944 w/ng on the ariel owners gallery, but would be helpfull if anybody had a paint code or available colour thats a good match
thanks
