I have recently acquired a 56 VH which has been off the road since the early '70s. The petrol tank whilst sound, has been over painted and no original details remain.
The Ariel web site shows a 56 NH tank with what looks like a 'thick yellow bordered with gold' coach line passing either side of a yellow badge. Could anybody kindly post or send me a close up picture of what this tank coach lining should look like.

Hi Ian, the photo's on the internet seem to be different (thicker) to the ones in the '56 brochure. I'd email Paul the Archivist. He has some of this info and may have the right dimensions for the lines.
