WNG Field Stand Lug

Post by LuisPaz »

After 106 days of leaving Holland, the lug stand arrived to install on my motorcycle.
Look at those nails, which function meet to hold the lug?
It will be a challenge to install this Lug in my frame!
I thank Vincent very much for the help he gives me to give this piece to me

Hi Simon!

I will have to remove the remaining pipe and the nails before installing in the frame.

Surgical cleaning task!!

Hello Luis, The pigeon has finally landed ! :D

Those pins are used to locate the lug in the right position before it is being brazed to the frame.
Most lugs have these pins.
When you look carefully e.g. after blasting a frame, you can see the heads of these pins on the outside.
