WNG Magdyno
According to the parts manual, my motorcycle carries the Magdyno M01/6 H3/0
I do not know what that identification means...
Observing a IWM WNG picture, the advance / retard cable is located on the rear side of the motorcycle (red arrow) but my current Magdino M01*4 46011B AC20 344 carries the cable on the opposite side.
Is it possible to exchange these end cover?
Thanks in advance!

Re: WNG Magdyno
The end covers swap. You have to watch the bearing adjustment with the change over. The cam plate has to be changed also and there are a few variables there. It may time in the same place so you could try it with the maggy not disturbed. There should be a copper coloured circlip holding the camplate in place with an eye in one end of it for ease of removal. Nev

I think your camplate will just swap as it is. Nev

Re: WNG Magdyno
with the cable entering from the left as in the picture, you have a slack cable on full advance.
I like that arrangement as you dont have to worry about the ignition vibrating to retard while on the move.

Rudges and the VCH's have too with the original BTH magneto's " cable break run to advance" so you finish the race. I like to keep things standard so If someone has to ride your bike home, because you can't, they don't cook it, or break their leg trying to start it. Nev

Re: WNG Magdyno
my G80cs has slack wire advance, the DB32 had tight, dunno why seems pretty standard though, decided to change it, not as easy as thought, different end cap no problem but then the cam was wrong so had to get a new cam, then the retaining clip was to short so had to source another longer one, Thanks Tony Cooper, eventually had it the way I wanted and corresponding to the G80, then acquired the W/ng, guess what! tight wire advance, lost the will to live now!

Re: WNG Magdyno
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
For now I will leave everything like this, until parts appear to make the change.
I have learned something more about how advance and retard work.
I have also disassembled the magdyno and lubricated all its bearings.
I must change the cable because a break is half stuck.
Then I'll have to tune up the motorcycle,
I've had my motorcycle for a year and I always find something badly assembly and I have to repair it.
Regards!
