Ariel Arrow NK 9662

I make this request on behalf of a friend of mine from the VMCC.

He purchased an Arrow new in 1964. It came from Hummingbird Motorcycles in St. Albans.
It was registered with the number NK 9662. This is an early Hertfordshire number
and I understand it was originally issued to his grandfather. The bike was eventually
sold in the early '70s but who to and where has long been forgotten.

NK 9662 isn't on the DVLA database which suggests it didn't fall foul of the number-
plate people.

Does it still survive after all these years, perhaps awaiting restoration somewhere?
