I have done it many times but it is allways like magic.

Before going on the road, turn the horn support upside down :D .

Well spotted Adrie, that answers why it is close to the frame at the top.

Hello Alan,
congratulations on your restauration.

Interesting to read in your initial statement of the bike's history having been scheduled for Germany. I had always thought that the Nazis did not allow imports into Germany after 1933. But actually I do have a 1938 VH that had been sold new in Munich. So there must have been some supply for the Ariel enthusiasts of the 1930ies in Germany!

I wonder how you like the ride on your Ariel. Keep us informed.

Yes,Ive read that before too,in regard to Sturmey Archer..........however it is untrue.......the Reich placed a high tariff on imports.....either 33% or 50%,depending on the import.......with exemptions for special purposes.
