WNG Exhaust lifter cable 6470-44

Hi Fellows
I need reproduce the Exhaust lifter cable.
Any one can tell me the outer casing lenght and inner wire lenght?
The cable i have is broken.. and no original.

Talking of volute springs, amazingly useful websites and indeed world renowned Ariel parts specialists, has anyone seen the single - taper (i.e. fat at one end) volute spring used for the SQ4 Solex throttle cable?

I tried using the double ended decompressor spring but it doesn't work too well with the cable abutment. I'm currently using an extension spring attached to the dynamo strap.

One thing to watch out for is that if you have non standard handlebars the factory lengths may well be out. I prefer to buy the inner/outers and fittings and make up my own.
Start with the outer and route it from the decomp lever to the decompressor arm. When you are happy that it is routed correctly and you have slack when the bars are turned on both lock stops you can put the nipple on the handlebar lever end of the inner cable and fit this to the lever, thread the inner through the outer and route to the fixed post on the rocker cover. Slide the nipple on and mark where you need to cut the inner cable. Then thread on the volute spring and finally solder the nipple on.
Single Club spares have the volute springs.
Other than the front brake cable I put a midway adjuster on my cables. This means you can make the inner a few mm longer than you need and use the adjuster to take up the slack.

And finally, especially with the clutch cable use a cable with a nylon inner (as championed by Paul Jameson). I tried in vain to get a smooth clutch pull with a normal cable, but even with a fully lubricated number 2 inner in a number 3 outer it was rough. With a universal nylon clutch cable kit from JJ Cables (£8 .....50 inches long outer so plenty of cable) the pull is as smooth as silk and the clutch can be fully pulled in with one finger.

Thank you very much for the reply!
My decompressor lever it is the triger type.
Now its is impossible buy cables and other parts outside my country, and it's fun for me to build it one.
I check draganfly website to see the measurements.
I have lathe to make some ferrules, but the lifter cable no need these ends
I will have to make a mold to melt lead and make the shape of a sphere end.
