Rubber Battery Boxes

Post by simon.holyfield »

Chaps,

I've just received a rubber battery case for the FH, supposedly a Lucas one - from eBay but the same one that Paul Goff sells.

It appears to fit my W/NG battery carrier but is about 3/8" too tall for the FH?

Am I missing something? I don't have the strap yet.
cheers

Thanks Steve. Is yours one of the hard rubber ones? This one is noticeably pliable, and it's 162 mm tall.

I'll return it.
cheers

Hard rubber Simon, not that soft rubber type.
