8" rear brake plate QD SQ4 hub

Post by Vincent.vanGinneke »

Looking for a replacement for this brakeplate.
8" in diameter, alloy casting fits in a QD rear hub from a SQ4 but this one is the optional extra meant for a swingarm model ± 1954.
If nothing is avalable a SQ4 type will do (with oval hole for plunger fitment)

Thanks, regards, Vincent

Thanks for the reply Jorgen, but 100,- is 'a tadd' outside the planned budget for the SpAriel.

Yep, 40 GBP including the postage, not bad !
I had actually decided not to bid again if my first bid was overbid, but you know how this goes........

Now I am looking for a good 8" SQ4 brakedrum, or is it feasable to re-sprocket a 8"drum? (drum is very close to the teeth)

Vincent
