I rebuilt my red dot ammeter after my crash 3 years ago - what fun!
I had to get an non working britax ammeter from an auto jumble sale and transfer the gubbings from the red dot into the emptied out casings. (with some delicate repair work)
I added a bulb for the ignition and it all worked fine - in all cost me a fiver!
