This is my first bike restoration!

Found this in a barn, and the kind gentleman gave it to me.

I'm a fabricator/engineer by trade so the the actual work doesn't worry me. I'm just abit daunted by finding the missing parts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome Charles !

Wow! you go in at the deep end! really nice / good find.
I think it's a two valver ? there where also 4 valvers but those more then once cracked their cilinderheads between valve seats.
Others will be along pointing you out what you need in terms of parts, and courage!

all the best, Vincent

It might look like this after a while...

The best advise will be; buy a 4 valver with a broken head becouse i think you won't find the missing parts for a afforteble prijs.

You want to do a thorough search of the sheds etc for the missing bits,if possible............a lot more may be there.......Its strange ,but even people who have bought project bikes in bits from me never come back or contact me,and often bits turn up when Im looking for something else......A couple of guys I know who collect trucks found a near complete WD Indian in a million bits after the local council issued them with a cleanup order.

Sorry , i should have seen that by the inclined pushrodtubes, the tubes are paralel with a 2 valver and i missed the cardboardbox with parts?.

It's a bit early but i can help you with a new numberplate support and nos valve springs.

Hello Charles
I have some parts left from the restauration of my 1932 VG.
What's missing on your bike?

Regards Klaus
