W/NG Rack
Hi fellows
I live so far in Argentina and the shipping cost are high to buy a Repro Pannier Rack
I make and easy drawing and i need measurements to make my own rack.
They should only measure the length of each red line named with a letter. If possible, the angle shown in the drawing.
I will greatly appreciate the measures that you can send me.
Also i need the thickness of the bar.
Thanks in advance!

Re: W/NG Rack
According to the parts book number, that rack only dates back to 1940. Nev

Re: W/NG Rack
That's the rack that comes with the pannier frames, fitted from '42? The earlier rack is more like a civilian one.
The rack Luis shows is missing from my original January 1942 parts book.

Re: W/NG Rack
My parts list is May 1941. Complete carrier Number 5630-40. This is closed at the front and has not got the extra mount points for the pannier frames. The note in the parts book says do not use E9/896 which it presume is a civilian one. 5630-40 was only used for a bit more than a year, it appears.. Nev

Re: W/NG Rear Carrier
Thanks to the measures shared here in the forum, I started building the rear carrier. My rear fender has missing parts, such as the hinge, which I will have to rebuild. I'm newby to iron folding and welding, so I have mistakes to correct even ...
