I dont think you'll find it easy to remove the remaining part as they pinned and brazed on to the frame tube, however I suspect a good welder could MIG/TIG weld a new pivot onto the existing stub by only welding in short bursts

Thanks Mike,

Graham Goral also sent me photos, so I managed to get the lug fabricated & fitted. However, it's very reassuring to see another photo which confirms the details!
The slow process of acquiring all the other missing bits has started, but the restoration is now underway rather than stalled, so I hope to get it on the road eventually.
