Replica tool box
Dads W/ng is missing the “extra” tool box from the rear right hand side.
Does anyone make a passable replica of these please? His in a Navy contract bike, did these have the tool box at all?
Many thanks
Andi

I do keep and eye on eBay but to be honest one tool box looks like another to me. Would not know if it was what was advertised or if it was original or replica.

Re: Replica tool box
I'll send you some pictures of mine later, and a few dimensions. It certainly looks similar.

Re: Replica tool box
Hello Andi,
I have a W/NG toolbox with a hinged lid.
But..... it has 'some' work to do on it.
I was planning one day to do that and fit it to the left side, but Oh well I might not.
These are the pictures the seller send me before I bought it.
You can see some welding has been going on at the rear but what you cannot see is the gaping hole it has on the far end ! haha. Anyway.
I'll make some other pictures today when I get in the attick.
You can identify a Indian one as they have slightly curved sides, originally these are straight

Re: Replica tool box
just seen this one on Ebay, it is -more or less- the same as the one I have.
The hole in mine is where a bracket is supposed to be ! ]
But this one on Ebay is not really W/NG I think, although the cut out would make it fit on the driveside to clear the rearchainguard.

mine ; also not W/NG I think... (Look mum ! I can weld !!)
