Mudguard repair.
Having no luck what so ever in finding a replacement plunger mudguard. I'm going to try and repair my own! Unfortunately someone cut off the tail end. So I need to know how much is really missing if someone could measure there guard for me from end to end over the raduis please so I know how much to make up I'll be most grateful. Even some good photos of the tail end so I can see how far the rib goes before it flattens out. Plus side photos so I can see how the sides of guard taper off. Many thanks in advance for your help I'll be in your gratitude Lee

Re: Mudguard repair.
So this is for your VHA? The type where the whole mudguard pivots up from the front mount?
cheers

OK. There's a few pictures of mine, and some of Brenton's SQ4 on my blog.
I'll get some better ones and the measurements you want if that would help?

Re: Mudguard repair.
The rib goes all the way down. On my rigid it flattens out before it gets to the end. Yes thank you it helps alot.

Re: Mudguard repair.
My rigid mudguard is different too, Lee.
My SQ4 mudguard rib goes to the end, apart from a short flattened section for the lowest number plate bolt.
It's 53 3/4" from the end behind the gearbox to the end of the pointed bit. For reference, it's 25" from the top stay mount (front end of the grab rail) to the tail.

Re: Mudguard repair.
Thank you Simon that's wonderful. I'll mearure up my guard when home from work and see how much is missing. This is going to be my job for the weekend make up something that looks like the photos wish me luck I don't think it's going to be easy to get right.
