Using the smaller diameter head will increase your compression ratio quite substantially.

Your right Paul. It certainly felt as though the compression had gone up after I fitted the 500cc head but the flat top pistons I used made it at least manageable.paul.jameson wrote:Using the smaller diameter head will increase your compression ratio quite substantially.
