Big end cap tightening torque?

Post by Graham.Goral »

Hi all,
Is there a recommended tightening torque for the nuts on the big end caps please? I remember being surprised at how tight they were when removing them, given that the other end is in aluminium but wasn't sure just how tight is tight-enough when refitting.
Cheers
Graham

Hi Graham, I'm not aware of much info about torque settings. This is the factory sheet - from Roger at Drags. http://www.barkshire.co.uk/AOMCC/Knowle ... spx?id=245 (divide by 12 to get to foot pounds)
