Does anyone know whether this is an Ariel item? It's one of two that are attached to Ariel (well, Burman) gearboxes in my shed - I think mid to late 40's.
Drags only show the usual pressed steel clutch actuating lever as 3042-35 CP/BA - '36 - 51.
Parts books aren't much help.

Yes, it's on 1935 Red Hunters, so I ges it's 1932 - 1935.

Thanks Adrie, Nev - it's only a little thing and I'm not too fussed about the absolute originality side of it, but I was interested in whether it was Burman.
If there had just been one, I probably wouldn't have taken much notice.
As you say Nev, it's a lot more arty than a pressed steel one.
Interesting that mine are on what I think are later gearboxes...
