Military grade canvas

Post by john.nash »

I have worn holes in my pannier bags, from carrying stuff over the past 5 years.
Not complaining as I use the bike a lot.

Being tight, I just need to patch the corners and bottom with more canvas ( rather than buy new ....)

Where does one get small sheets of the real good military canvas from ?

It arrived
I am bowing down and worshiping at the altar of the god, who is Steven Carter !!

I reckon I could rip one apart and make a copy easily enough (reusing the brass fittings) - the issue is having a sewing machine tough enough to go through multiple layers of canvas. Anyhows .. I can patch mine for a few more years now !!!
