Digressing slightly, I have a Harley WLA frame with NO numbers, Harley Davidson only started issuing frame numbers in 1970. Usually they have "home made" numbers stamped on them, generally a repeat of the engine number, but it is by no means unknown to find un-numbered frames even at this late date

I have asked DVLA to freeze this registration mark (full reg found) and not to issue any further V5C's until the 'motorcycle' has been examined and confirmed as genuine.
