Gear Indicator

Post by simon.holyfield »

Chaps,

I am thinking that there should be a gear indicator retained by a dome nut here, right? The parts list suggests this area changed in 1944; this bike is 1942.

Yes there should. It fits on the shoulder on the shaft and is retained by the nut on the end.
I actually have one spare somewhere.

I'd be in the market for an original, if you want to part with it!

Excellent, thank you Ian. Do you have a PayPal account? If so, perhaps you can PM me your email address, or if not, your street address.
