we all get them, in five weeks time I do Red Marley on a hip joint that is due for replacement in July and to compound matters I managed to fracture some ribs last night. Anyone else falling to pieces?

Re: injuries
Stairs, tiredness and gravity, my fall ended when I landed on some unassembled Ikea flatpack furniture. I blame Sweden.

Re: injuries
thanks Chris, it is going to be a very limited season this year. I accept the risks on the track and realise that injury is inevitable in our sport but to fall down the stairs is tragic and stupid.

Re: injuries
Well with a specialist diet of bone mending food ( cheese and eggs for calcium, beans and pulses, spinach, tomatoes, oily fish and olive oil) my ribs feel fixed enough to allow me to have hayfever without crying after only 4 weeks. My next test is Red Marley on Monday.
