Stairs, tiredness and gravity, my fall ended when I landed on some unassembled Ikea flatpack furniture. I blame Sweden.

It sounds a bit like end of season for motorcycling before it started ,Wali
I can feel with you as motorcycling and racing are very important to me.
I wish you quick recovery and good luck for the hip operation in july.

thanks Chris, it is going to be a very limited season this year. I accept the risks on the track and realise that injury is inevitable in our sport but to fall down the stairs is tragic and stupid.
Laughter may be the best medicine with some ailments but not with rib fractures.

Stannah stairlift ?

You could make it more palatable with a Lycett seat ?

Well with a specialist diet of bone mending food ( cheese and eggs for calcium, beans and pulses, spinach, tomatoes, oily fish and olive oil) my ribs feel fixed enough to allow me to have hayfever without crying after only 4 weeks. My next test is Red Marley on Monday.
