Primary case

Post by Leejm »

Are these cases different for singles, twins and fours? I seemed to be having some issues with the one I have. For one with the gearbox forward as far as it goes does not line up well with the one in the inner case. 2 the footrest spacer does not line up in the middle of the hole for it. 3 the brake pedal stop does not go through the hole it hits the frame. 4 I picked up a new inspection cap that does not fit either the hole is smaller than the cap. O, Yes there are! Although they look the same on first sight there are quite some differences in shape and in dimension between the various models. Also the dimensions of the engine shock absorber bulge differ from each other...

So looks like I need another set of cases then. God knows what my cases are for. Many thanks for your comment Paul.

Maybe you can post a photograph of what you got on this moment (inner/outer), I think this will help to get the right advice...
What bike/model should they fit? I know for instance inner cases for a single are quite diff. as for a twin. Then there are the diff. between a swingarm frame and a rigid frame etc.
Regards, Paul

Can you also post a photograph from the other side of the inner case?
