Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel
Well I'm 59 in January so if I decide to retire at 60, this could be my last year of riding to jobs. But knowing me, I suspect I'll carry on but in case I don't it might be fun to keep a diary of my daily riding. I should have done it before now, as I forget a lot of the fun things that have happened and the great guys I've met but hey, better now then never.
I might as well do it here, the good thing about doing it online is I can't loose it!!

Cheers Simes
Well, first entry, and first question, will I keep it up, usually I can't but that's another problem
I've a job in Southampton for Griffon Hovercraft. Local jobs I'm normally riding my WNG, but any further it's the Gruntmaster
I'll take the Huntmaster as I've fitted the Lithium Ion battery, I'm keen to see how well it works.

Re: Daily Riding Diary on an Ariel
Bob Keevil popped over to see me this afternoon, his heart is set on a late KH and as he's sold his Arrow he's keen to see if he'd fit onto a swinging arm frame.
If anyone here's of a KH for sale let me know.
I'm currently fixing a rattle. I've traced it to the bulb holder loose inside the headlamp shell. It's been annoying me for months!

Put my headlamp back together and changed the oil in my WNG ready for next weekends Crazy Horse. Even manged to squeeze some grease into the box.

Steve - what's your wet-weather gear and does it actually keep you dry?
(I've just about given up on finding motorcycle gear that still works after an hour or so in real rain and spray - even my very expensive goretex jacket ends up wicking water up the inner lining from the cuffs and up the front from where water always pools in the lap of the waterproof trousers )
