Vincent, I have seen their RAF colour and I find it a very nice colour, not to dark! There are two options: dull and eggshell. I choose for a eggshell finish not only for practical reasons but also because I like the looks.
Did you actually know that ‘Navy Blue’ and ‘RAF Blue’ finishes were generaly only used in pre- and post war years only? All W/NG's where despatched in one or another ‘Army green/Olive Drab variation’. For the use in the middele east for instance they where brushed painted again in Desert.

Now comes a tricky one: to get the numbers on the petrol tank with the use of a template. ...and avoid paint is creeping under it and making a mess!

Hmm... something strange happened with my previous reply, it vanished!
Ok Again, Vincent I allready managed to do one side. It took some time to find out what's the best way to apply the paint, but as you can see one side is now ready.

Yes I like brown to! I did hesitate to choose the colour like the one on the truck. This one is called ‘Canadian Brown’ but eventually I did choose for green.

Has anyone ever done a W/NG in the Malta "dry stone wall" finish? Incidentally, mine is in what is supposed to be NATO matt green (obtained from a local firm which buys, does up and sells ex-WD Land Rovers) - which I believe has some chemical component which is supposed to make it invisible to radar. This stealth W/NG appproach would presumably work well in sneaking up on people as long as the engine wasn't running.............
