Black Ariel Book
Hi Arielists,
I have a friend wanting to buy a copy of Dave Barkshire's "Black Ariels" book. If anyone has a lazy copy that they wish to sell, can they please pm me. Any edition is fine.......
Many thanks.
Regards,
John.

Re: Black Ariel Book
It certainly is a wonderful book and a credit to the author. Hopefully there may be another reprint if enough people express an interest.

Re: Black Ariel Book
There are 300 copies in the wild spread across the globe (1st edition 100, 2nd edition 200, 3rd edition 200) and the last of the 3rd edition was sold not that long ago. The club might possibly be interested in doing another print run in the future but only if they feel that there are enough people wanting a copy. I think the feeling was that most people who would want a copy would already have one at that another printing would not be justified with enough willing recipients for quite some time.
It might be worth calling for a show of hands at some point in the future. Although it is easy enough to get them printed it does require that someone does the work of selling them and Andy Hemmingway was kind enough to do this for the 3rd edition but this sort of work is always a big ask.

Re: Black Ariel Book
I would be interested in a copy as well should a reprint go ahead, the chances of buying a second hand copy must be very remote!
Re: Black Ariel Book
I would buy all three version if I could!

Re: Black Ariel Book
mick Small has agreed to collate no's to check what interest there is. I am in Austria and don't have his email address handy but I have put a note about it in July cheval including his email address. Just let him know if you want one [or more) and if we get enough interest Dage us allowed us to make another print run.

Sorry about that - my fingers are too big for this machine. I should have said Dave has allowed another reprint!
