Nothing to do with me Steve, my iPad does what it thinks is best, I have very little input!

Made a bit more progress today, new bearings in the gearbox and back together aside from the kickstart cover. Back in the frame.

I painted another coat on the number plate the other week and forgot to post the photo, not as happy as I could be, it has a little bit of a run around the digits, but that may well polish off if I'm careful. Still, not too bad for saying it's the first time I have tried that sort of thing freehand

Goodies today! I have received an order from drags which includes a mudguard blank and the little 'ears' for the stays, which I have taken down to the Aston Martin bodywork specialist with the pattern so he can make a replica. The profile is a little deeper than the original, but I can cope with that, can't wait to see the results!

I have also received my chrome plating back from prestige. I wish I had taken some photos before I had it done so you can see the difference but it looks absolutely spectacular compared to how it was when I sent it off.

Very reasonable I'd say. The bill was around £240, and that is expensive for the company I use, but I did send it all covered in grease and some parts were horrendously badly pitted. They have done a great job. I called them today and told them how impressed I was, I'm making an effort to let them know when they have done a great job, too often people only comment if they want to moan about something.
